I'm Back!!

Well it certainly has been a dry spell for me posting stuff on this blog.  All the best intentions went out the window last fall and I got hooked on posting stuff only on my instagram feed (@lhaskar2018).



Why the impetus now to start again?  Well, my friend (Ron - https://sketchbookgaming.blogspot.com/) completed what we call Winter League of Kill Team and now are about to start Summer League.  We play each league at our respective houses because of the location of our game rooms.  He has his upstairs while mine is down in the basement.  During the summer game room, which is upstairs and gets the sun all day long, becomes a version of Crematoria (Riddick anyone? :-) during the summer while my room stays cold no matter what during the winter.  So our rooms compliment each other seasonally for comfort:-)

I'm going to try to post up something after each of our games during Summer League.  Our games during Winter League were a lot of fun and each game was played on some awesome custom terrain made by Ron.  I have some big shoes to fill in that area but hope to create some fun layouts as well.

I managed to win Winter League!  Ron crushed me in our year long Space Hulk campaign we did a some time back so when I pulled out a win for this, my family was surprised:-)  Ron did up a trophy which will sit at the winner's house until the outcome of Summer League.  We'll see!
