WIP Update: Orc Brave by Ouroboros Miniatures

Finished with the Base

So I completed the base that the model will stand on.  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I learned a lot along the way as well.  Specifically the different resources and techniques to use in creating the ground part.  Specifically Vallejo's Earth Texture series.  I got the idea from watching an excellent series on Youtube by Vince Venturella (he does guest videos on Hobby Hangout as well..another great resource).

Anyway, here are some photos of where I am at now.

Now on to the orc!  I had to take the axe head part off as it is very fragile so painting it while attached probably would be more hassle that it's worth.  Hopefully I can make good progress on it and not let it sit for 6 months!
